“Arise with Thanksgiving”

I began this painting in a prophetic art workshop with the Christian Artist Elizabeth Londen.
I felt Holy Spirit guided me to the word ‘Arise’ then went on a deep dive into the Bible and dictionary exploring ideas for images.
Key verses that I thought about and dwelt on were;
“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”
~ Isaiah 60 v 1
“But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles,”
~ Isaiah 40 v31
“And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valour!”
~ Judges 6 v 12- 12
At this time we are called to arise with thanksgiving for all the wonderful things that He has done for us to restore us to His family. So let us arise- be the light- shine His light in the darkness, on wings of eagles, with gratitude in our hearts raising the sword of truth.
